1. Definitions 

  • LBC: LBC, Leadership Business Consulting, is the organizer of the GSI – Global Strategic Innovation immersion programs, in any of its modalities, operates the GSI website and provides the immersion programs. 
  • Client: The individual or legal entity that purchases an immersion program through the website. 
  • Immersion Program: A package of services that includes various activities, such as workshops, visits, networking, and direct interaction with experts in Silicon Valley and San Francisco, with the aim of providing the client with an immersive experience in California’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. 
  • Website: The website operated by LBC, where reservations for immersion programs are made available. 

 

2. General Conditions 

  • By accessing and using the site, you agree to these terms and conditions. 
  • LBC reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. 
  • You are responsible for reading and understanding the terms and conditions before purchasing your presence in an immersion program. 
  • LBC is not responsible for errors or omissions in the information contained on the website. 
  • LBC is not responsible for damages or losses caused to the customer by system failures or for any other reason. 

 

3. Acquisition of Immersion Programs

  • Immersion programs can be purchased through the website operated by LBC: www.globalstrategicinnovation.com. 
  • The customer must provide all the information necessary for the booking of the immersion program, including full name, address, telephone, email, and payment and billing details. 
  • LBC reserves the right to cancel the purchase of an immersion program at any time without prior notice. 
  • The client may cancel the purchase of an immersion program in accordance with LBC’s cancellation policy set for GSI. 
     

4. Cancellation Policy

  • The customer may cancel the purchase of an immersion program free of charge up to 30 days before the start date of the program. 
  • For cancellations made between 30 and 15 days before the program start date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the program price will be charged. 
  • For cancellations made less than 15 days before the program start date, there will be no refund.
     

5. Prices and Payments

  • Prices for immersion programs are referenced in euros (EUR) and US dollars (USD) and may be changed at any time without notice. 
  • Payment for the immersion programs can be made by credit card, PayPal or other means of payment available on the website. 
  • LBC is not responsible for payment errors or unauthorized transactions. 
     

6. Customer’s Responsibility

  • The client is responsible for having a valid passport and for obtaining the necessary visas to travel to the United States. 
  • The customer is responsible for having valid travel insurance that covers health costs, accidents, and other unforeseen events. 
  • Customer is responsible for following the laws and customs of the United States. 
  • The client is responsible for behaving in a respectful and professional manner during the immersion program. 

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the website, including text, images, videos, and trademarks, is protected by copyright and intellectual property of LBC. 
  • The customer is not authorized to copy, distribute, or reproduce any part of the content of the website without the prior authorization of LBC. 

8. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America. 
  • Any dispute arising out of these terms and conditions shall be settled in the courts of San Francisco, California, United States of America. 

9. Miscellaneous

  • These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between LBC and the customer. 
  • LBC may assign its rights and obligations under these terms and conditions to any third party. 
  • The invalidity of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
